PARISH OF CADDO TO HOST COMMUNITY INPUT MEETINGS ON WALTER B. JACOBS MEMORIAL NATURE PARK IMPROVEMENTS
Caddo Parish, LA – Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is seeking input from citizens across Caddo Parish on the new Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park improvements. Two community meetings will be held in Caddo Parish to allow citizens to voice their opinions and ideas.
“As the Parish works to develop plans for a new and innovative Nature Park, input from our citizens is critical to the process,” said Parish of Caddo Administrator Dr. Woody Wilson, Jr. “These community meetings will offer citizens the opportunity to engage with Parish staff and the design team, and offer valuable feedback on Walter B. Jacobs,” said Wilson.
Citizens in Caddo Parish approved the new upgrades and rehabilitation to the park through the Parish bond’s initiative passed in November 2022.
Meeting times and locations are as follows:
Wednesday, May 17 @ 6:00pm – Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park, 8012 Blanchard Furrh Road, Shreveport, LA 71107
Thursday, May 25 @ 6:00pm – Government Plaza Chambers, 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, LA, 71101
Sessions will be facilitated by TBA Studio.
