Parish of Caddo closures

Due to the impending threat of Hurricane Laura to our area, all Parish of Caddo and Caddo Parish Commission offices will be closed on Thursday, August 27.  All parish public waste compactor sites will be closed. Key and essential personnel will report as scheduled.

In advance of the storm, citizens may still pick up sandbags today until 5:30pm and tomorrow beginning at 7:30am, weather permitting. Sandbags may be picked up at 1701 Monty Street, Shreveport, LA. Citizens are allowed up to 25 bags/vehicle.

The Parish’s public works crews remain ready to respond to any reports of storm debris on parish roads and anything that could also impede drainage on parish roadways, when it is safe to do so.

The Parish will continue to monitor this rapidly changing weather situation and provide updates as we receive them.
