Ordinances Adopted 

Ordinance No. 5892, TO AMEND AND RE-ENACT SECTION 2-51 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE PARISH OF CADDO RELATIVE TO THE DEPARTMENTS OF FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES

(Separates Human Resource from Finance Department. Re-establishes the department of Human Resources according to the Charter.)

Ordinance No. 5893, TO GRANT AN ENCROACHMENT ON PROVINCETOWNE DRIVE, A PUBLIC RESIDENTIAL STREET, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION OF AN ACCESS GATE ACCORDING TO CHAPTER 40 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES

(Allows the construction of an access gate on Provincetown Drive)

 

Resolutions Adopted

Resolution No. 57 of 2019, SPECIAL EXEMPTION TO ALLOW PRECINCTS CONTAINING 300 REGISTERED ACTIVE VOTERS WITH IN GEOGRAPHICAL BOUNDARIES BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE. 

Resolution No. 58 of 2019, THAT CADDO PARISH WILL SEEK TO IDENTIFY MILITARY AND VETERAN CAREGIVERS RESIDING IN OUR COMMUNITY AND DETERMINE THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES THEY FACE. THAT CADDO PARISH WILL WORK TO ENSURE THAT OUR GOVERNMENT, ORGANIZATIONS, EMPLOYERS AND NON-PROFITS ARE AWARE OF THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES OF MILITARY AND VETERAN CAREGIVERS AND ARE ENCOURAGED TO CREATE SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR ASSISTANCE.

Resolution No. 61 of 2019, SUPPORT OF THE ARKANSAS RED RIVER COMMISSION’S SPONSORSHIP OF A RED RIVER NAVIGATION STUDY.

Resolution No. 62 of 2019, COOPERATIVE ENDEAVOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN CADDO PARISH 9-1-1 COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT NUMBER ONE AND THE PARISH OF CADDO REGARDING USE AND OPERATION OF A NEW PARISH-WIDE P25 PHASE 2 DIGITAL RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM.

Resolution No. 63 of 2019, ADD CRAWFORD ROAD BRIDGE INTO THE FEDERAL OFF-SYSTEM BRIDGE REHABILITATION AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM. 

Resolution No. 64 of 2019, REQUESTING CONGRESS TO SUPPORT AND FUND THE RED RIVER LEVEE AND PARTICULARLY THE DOUGLAS ISLAND REVETMENT AT RIVER MILE 230.1-228.6R.

Resolution No. 66 of 2019, URGE AND REQUEST GOVERNOR JOHN BEL EDWARDS AND THE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CONSIDER THE IMPACTS OF CHANGES TO MEDICAID CONTRACT AND ITS EFFECTS OF CADDO PARISH CITIZENS.

Resolution No. 67 of 2019, TO SUPPORT NACO EFFORTS TO URGE AND REQUEST CONGRESS TO MAKE CHANGES TO THE MEDICAID EXCLUSION PROVISION

Resolution No. 68 of 2019, TO SUPPORT NACO EFFORTS TO URGE CONGRESS, ESPECIALLY THOSE SERVING ON US HOUSE AND SENATE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEES, TO SUPPORT INCREASED FUNDING FOR SECOND CHANCE ACT PROGRAMS IN THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS PROCESS

Resolution No. 69 of 2019, TO AUTHORIZE THE CADDO PARISH ADMINISTRATOR TO APPROVE THE ASSIGNMENT, BILL OF SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF STATE AGENCY LEASES 20123 AND 20129 TO COMSTOCK OIL & GAS-LOUISIANA, LLC
