SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH

September is National Preparedness Month. Caddo Parish has partnered with the City of Shreveport and FEMA to spread awareness on how to prepare for natural disasters. It is never too early to be prepared, only too late.

As we approach the middle of hurricane season, we are reminded that hurricanes also bring the potential of flooding. Protect yourself now with flood insurance through FEMA .

To learn more about protection against flooding and other natural disasters, visit Caddo Parish’s website at caddo.org; follow us on Facebook; or visit the City of Shreveport’s website.
