Linwood Avenue Bridge to open to traffic

LINWOOD AVENUE BRIDGE TO OPEN TO TRAFFIC

Beginning Tuesday, August 7, the bridge located at Linwood Avenue south at the intersection of Southern Loop will be open to traffic.

The bridge project, originally estimated to take 120 days, has been completed two weeks ahead of schedule and under bid. The bridge was previously closed to allow the Caddo Parish Department of Public Works to replace the structure, ensuring decades of safety and sustainability for motorists.

With the completion of the Linwood Avenue Bridge project, the Parish's live Project CAM will be moving to the Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City. Residents can access this live, around the clock feed by visiting www.caddo.org .
