CADDO PARISH PARKS & RECREATION RELEASES 2021 SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE
Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation has released the 2021 Summer Program Guide, highlighting fun and enriching opportunities across Caddo Parish for youth, adults, and families. This summer features the return of some favorite in-person activities, including nature education programs, recreational activities and sport camps/clinics.
“We have a diverse slate of summer programs and leisure services for Caddo Parish youth, adults and families to enjoy. We encourage all citizens to get out, get moving and enjoy all programs and related services our department has to offer,” said Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation director Patrick Wesley.
In addition to scheduled summer programs and events, all Caddo Parish public parks, green space, nature trails, walking paths, and restrooms will be open to the general public daily from 6:00am – 9:00pm, with the exception of Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park (Wednesday through Saturday from 8am – 5pm, and Sundays from 1pm – 5pm.).
The Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park and Visitor Center will re-open to the public Wednesday, June 2nd.
All scheduled summer programs and events will be facilitated by staff, and all events will follow applicable COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
